Programme Terms & Achievement Reward

Double-6 English — The 6-Month Grade 6 Programme

These terms apply specifically to purchases of the Double-6 English 6-Month Grade 6 Programme. They should be read alongside the general Double-6 English Terms and Conditions.

1. What the programme includes

The programme provides six months of structured AQA GCSE English Language and Literature teaching.

During the six-month teaching period, pupils receive:

  • recorded teaching and corresponding activities;
  • live online group tuition;
  • access to recordings of live sessions where available;
  • exam-style practice;
  • monthly Practice Week assessment and feedback; and
  • personalised marking and feedback on English work submitted during the six-month programme.

Programme materials remain available until the pupil has completed their relevant GCSE examinations.

Unlimited personalised marking and live tuition apply during the six-month taught programme only.

2. Programme structure

Pupils begin with programme pre-work before starting the main teaching sequence.

The programme is designed to be followed in order. New teaching is structured across six months, with approximately three focused lesson-and-activity sessions each week.

Practice Week takes place at the end of each month and is used to identify progress and areas that need further work.

Any internal percentage or mastery measure used within Double-6 English, including the 70% secure-learning threshold, is a programme tracking measure. It is not an AQA grade boundary and does not guarantee a particular GCSE grade.

3. Access and participation

The programme is designed for pupils studying AQA GCSE English Language and Literature.

Results depend on a range of factors outside Double-6 English's control, including prior attainment, attendance, effort, completion of practice, examination performance and individual circumstances.

Double-6 English does not guarantee a particular GCSE result.

Pupils and parents are responsible for ensuring that the pupil completes the work, attends or watches relevant teaching and submits work where feedback is required.

4. Payment

Customers may choose from the payment options shown at checkout.

Current payment options are:

  • £597 paid in full;
  • 2 monthly payments of £315; or
  • 3 monthly payments of £220.

Where a payment plan is selected, the customer is purchasing the full programme rather than a monthly subscription.

Unless the purchase is cancelled under the 14-day refund policy or another legal right applies, all scheduled instalments remain payable.

5. 14-day refund period

Customers may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

This Double-6 English refund promise applies even where the pupil has already logged in, accessed the programme or begun the pre-work.

To request a refund, the purchaser should contact Double-6 English using the contact details provided at checkout or in their purchase confirmation.

Once a refund has been processed, access to the programme may be removed.

This refund policy does not affect any statutory consumer rights.

6. The Double-6 Achievement Reward

The Double-6 Achievement Reward recognises the pupil's highest official GCSE English result.

The reward is:

  • Grade 7 — £100 refund
  • Grade 8 — £200 refund
  • Grade 9 — £300 refund

The reward is based on the pupil's highest grade across AQA GCSE English Language and AQA GCSE English Literature.

The two grades are not added together.

For example:

  • Grade 7 Language and Grade 6 Literature = £100 reward
  • Grade 8 Language and Grade 7 Literature = £200 reward
  • Grade 9 Language and Grade 8 Literature = £300 reward

Only one Achievement Reward is payable per programme purchase.

7. Claiming the Achievement Reward

To claim the reward, the purchaser must:

  • have purchased the programme at least one calendar month before the pupil's first relevant GCSE English examination;
  • have paid the programme price in full, including all instalments where a payment plan was used;
  • have retained their Double-6 English purchase;
  • provide evidence of the pupil's official GCSE English results; and
  • make the claim using the same email address used to purchase the programme.

Evidence should normally be a clear photograph or scan of the official results document showing the relevant English Language and/or English Literature result.

Double-6 English may request reasonable additional information where necessary to verify a claim.

Once verified, the relevant amount will be refunded to the purchaser.

The Achievement Reward is separate from the 14-day refund policy and is not a guarantee of examination performance.

8. Examination board

The programme is designed specifically around AQA GCSE English Language and Literature.

Double-6 English is an independent education service and is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by AQA.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in these programme terms excludes or limits any rights that a consumer has under applicable UK consumer law.
